As promised Wings and Things was back bigger and better in 2022 with the addition of the Red Star Roolettes and the P-51 Mustang which were hits with the crowd! Joined again by Matt Hall, Emma McDonald, Mark from Warrior Warbirds and Northwest helicopters Coonabarabran Aero Club put on quite a show.
With thanks to Warrumbungle Shire and all display and joy flight pilots and club volunteers who pulled together to put on a great show once again.
The inaugural Warrumbungle Wings and Things was an unprecedented success with more than 1500 enthusiastic community members making their way up to Coonabarabran Aero Club. The club was thrilled to be in the company of some incredible pilots, including Matt Hall and Emma McDonald of Matt Hall Racing, Mark from Warrior Warbirds, Northwest Helicopters and many aviators who chose to fly in on the day. On the ground the local car club put on quite a show, and local stallholders kept us fed.
The event was an undeniable success and we can't wait to do it again next year!
